Clueless Gamer has become a staple on the Conan O’Brien show and nothing is above falling out of his reach. Whether or not you respect Conan as a gamer is irrelevant, the fact of the matter is, watching him try his hand at a multitude of different video games is solid entertainment.
Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U was pretty heavily featured throughout Nintendo’s time in the limelight at E3. While the game is still months away from launch, at least as far as the console version is concerned, Conan O’Brien wanted to be one of the first to try their hand with the demo.
Thinking of the hardcore gaming crowd and Nintendo in the same thought is pretty difficult to day, but a small contingent of them lie within the space occupied by Super Smash Bros. Whether it’s the idea of needing a special controller simply to defeat Mario with Pikachu or having tournaments based around Link punishing Kirby, Super Smash Bros. has developed a very strong following.
As Conan typically provides comedy, a marriage of the two may fend off on or the others opinions. Nonetheless, the results are pretty funny.
With Conan behind the controls, watching the Super Smash Bros. action take place is a good bit of laughter in its own right. Like the bit or not, Super Smash Bros. will be on retail shelves later this year.
As Nintendo has already launched peripherals designed specifically to enhance the Super Smash Bros. experience, gamers can get to pounding their opponents however they see fit.
