The future of Kevin Love in Minnesota is uncertain at best and non-existent at worse. The All-Star has made it well known that he wants to win and doesn’t believe the Timberwolves either know how to or want to, but as badly as he wants to leave he’s not taking full responsibility for that idea.

More from Minnesota Timberwolves

Love appeared on ESPN’s SportsNation on Thursday and mentioned that it’s not really up to him if he wants to opt out of his contract with the Wolves — it’s his agent’s job to do that for him.

"Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love said Wednesday that it “burns me and hurts my heart” that he hasn’t made the playoffs in six seasons in the NBA.But Love stopped short of confirming that he’s determined to opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent in 2015.“My agent is handling everything at this point … I’m hoping that everything works out for all parties involved,” Love said during an appearance on ESPN’s “SportsNation.”"

That’s sort of a cop out for Love as we all know he’s going to opt out and wants to opt out but he won’t man up and actually say it’s his idea. It will only feed into the idea Wolves fans have that Love might actually stay, which is a really cruel thing to do. Love wants you to still make him the center of your attention, but would rather ride home with the bro in his sports car.

Maybe he really wants to stay and is really that torn, but Love not owning up to his own desire seems like a low blow out the door to the Wolves.
