Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman has no problem telling you that he’s the best corner in the NFL, but other players aren’t so sure.

More from NFL

We’ve heard multiple NFL comrades like LeGarrette Blount and Patrick Peterson express different sentiments, though veteran NFL wideout Terrell Owens says he believes Sherman is the best in the business as he recently told TMZ.

T.O. was out in Hollywood last night when he told us straight up … the head of the Legion of Boom is “the best in the business!”

Ownes certainly knows the skills a good defensive back needs considering for the vast majority of his career, he opposed them every Sunday. Still, despite Owens solid resume, I have a feeling his word isn’t going to change the opinion of many, especially given current NFL players have questioned Sherman’s status as ‘best in the game’.

What we do know? Sherman’s really, really good, no matter if he’s the best or not and I doubt many Seattle Seahawks fans care about the title very much considering Sherman’s skills helped propel them to a Lombardi Trophy.

Regardless, still solid praise from one of the better wide receivers the NFL has seen during the past decade plus.

As for T.O., he still appears intent on returning to the game though the feeling doesn’t appear mutual around the league as he’s understandably received no job offers.
