Ross Pearson eyes fight with Joe Lauzon

Just a few days removed from his deplorable decision loss to Diego Sanchez at UFC Fight Night 42, Ross Pearson is ready to move on to bigger and better things.

The UFC and Dana White both made it very clear that they believe Pearson should have been granted the decision, and they will proceed forward as if he did. In fact, Pearson was awarded his $30,000 win bonus even though he technically lost the bout.

The fight seemingly looked one sided from the outset as Pearson picked Sanchez apart on their feet for the majority of the 15 minute bout. At multiple occurrences during the fight, Pearson rocked and dropped Sanchez, yet he was robbed a decision win.

Regardless, Pearson should get a step up in competition in his next bout, and he took to Twitter to ask his fans who they think he should fight next:

Ultimately, the results showed a rousing interest in a fight between Pearson and fellow TUF alumnus, Joe Lauzon:

Lauzon currently does not have a fight lined up and a potential bout with Pearson is almost a guarantee to earn fight of the night honors. It is now up to the UFC and Joe Silva to make the fight happen.
