Dusting off the microphone for the first time since the release of “The Marshall Mathers LP 2″, Eminem, alongside Grammy nominated Aussie singer Sia, is back in the studio, helping out with the soundtrack to Denzel Washington’s latest film “The Equalizer.”

Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Shooter, Olympus Has Fallen), “The Equalizer” looks to be taking a page out of Taken’s book as Denzel Washington suits up for an action role. Joining Washington will be Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick Ass, Carrie), Melissa Leo (The Fighter, Prisoners), and Marton Csokas (Lord of the Rings).
Despite revealing his latest work, Eminem’s latest track has yet to receive a title. A piano-led ballad with Sia’s voice throughout the opening parts of the trailer, Eminem is heard crooning “It’s too late to start over” and “it’s the only thing I know” in the waning moments of the trailer.
Coming together for soundtrack purposes, this will be the second time Eminem and Sia have worked together, collaborating on “Beautiful Pain” which appeared on Eminem’s 2013 album “The Marshall Mathers LP 2″. “Beautiful Pain” charted 30th on Billboards Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
Following Eminem’s mini-tour overseas at The Wembley alongside Odd Future and Danny Brown, the Oscar-winning rapper will join Rihanna as they embark on their collaborative tour dubbed “The Monster Tour” where they’ll perform twice in Pasadena, Dallas, and Detroit.
“The Equalizer” is set to release on September 26th.
