The San Antonio Spurs have a chance on Sunday to make quick work of the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, and walk away with another trophy to add to their illustrious collection.

This was something they were unable to do last season against this same Heat team. In Game 6, with the trophy already being brought out and ready to be handed to the Spurs, Miami’s Ray Allen dashed those hopes and the Heat ultimately won not only that game, but the ensuing Game 6.
With the way the Spurs have played in this series, especially dominating the Heat the way they have on their home court the last two games, you can tell that they don’t forget a single second of what happened last season in the Finals.
That’s why it should come as no surprise that for Game 5 on Sunday, according to point guard Tony Parker, the Spurs will be using those horrible events from last year as motivation to make sure they walk out champs.
Right now, it seems that Miami can’t do anything right, and many are already claiming they’re dead to rites. But, there’s a wealth of talent on this team that can strike at any moment, and Parker and the rest of his Spurs teammates know that because they saw it first-hand in last season’s Finals.
