TNA Slammiversary 2014 results: Eric Young defeats Bobby Lashley, Austin Aries; Retains title

Eric Young (c) vs. Austin Aries vs. Bobby Lashley (TNA World Heavyweight Championship)

Right after the bell, Young goes right after Lashley, but that didn’t work. Lashley then starts blowing through both men. He sets both of them up in respective corners, but they begin the comeback and start double-teaming Lashley. They go for a double suplex, but Lashley counters.

Eventually, they get Lashley into the cage and Aries quickly goes after Young, which is the smart move.

Lashley gets right back up, though, and tosses Aries right into the cage.  After another beating by Lashley, Young gets to the top rope and hits a missile drop kick, but Lashley goes right back to work on both men in the corners.

EY gets on top of Lashley in the corner, but Aries comes over, grabs him and hits a power bomb. He tries to go for the brain buster on Lashley, but he gets tossed into the cage.

After some more back and forth, Young gets Aries all to himself with Lashley out on the outside, but he can’t put him away. He goes for the piledriver, but Aries counters and hits a drop kick.

They both get up and start exchanging punches in the middle of the ring with the crowd chanting.

Aries hits the full-speed corner drop kick, but EY counters the brain buster into the piledriver and gets the three count for the win.

WINNER: Still Champion, Eric Young
