The Unites States men’s national team is set to begin their 2014 World Cup campaign tonight against Ghana at Estadio das Dunas at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.

With just under three hours to go before kick off, the USMNT’s locker room is prepped and ready to go. Check out this awesome vine the USMNT posted just moments ago:

The USMNT will have to play high quality soccer in order to seize a victory over the scrappy Ghanaians. In the last two World Cups, in 2006 and 2010, Ghana has defeated and knocked out the USMNT from the tournament.

Tonight, the USMNT looks for redemption in the “Group of Death”, which is the moniker given to the very tough Group G composed of Germany, Portugal, United States, and Ghana.

Earlier today Germany and Portugal kicked off Group G play with a dominant performance from the Germans. After two quick goals from Germany, Pepe of Portugal got a red card in the 37th minute and Germany turned on the pressure. Ultimately, the Germans notched two more goals and finished off the beatdown with a score of 4-0.

If the USMNT wants to make it out of the group stage and into the round of 16, they need to win tonight against Ghana.
