Wisconsin football recruiting: Chris Orr, Brandyn Lee, Sam Madden commit to Badgers

The Wisconsin Badgers had a huge weekend.

The Badgers landed a commitment on Saturday and three commitments for the class of 2015 on Sunday.

4-star defensive end Nate Howard, a 6’5, 220-pound prospect from was the headliner of the weekend.

2-star inside linebacker Chris Orr was the first to give his pledge to the Badgers. The 6’0, 215-pounder is from DeSoto, Texas and attends DeSoto High School. He is ranked as the country’s 64th-best inside linebacker prospect, the 268th-best overall prospect from the state of Texas and the 1,635th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

On Sunday, 3-star wide receiver Brandyn Lee and 3-star offensive tackle Sam Madden, along with Howard, pledged to the Badgers.

The 6’0, 175-pound Lee is from West Hills, California and attends Chaminade High School. He is ranked as the country’s 126th-best wide receiver prospect, the 121st-best overall prospect in the state of California and 1,064th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015.

Madden measures in at a massive 6’7 and 345 pounds. He is from Barnegat, New Jersey and attends Barnegat High School. He is ranked as the country’s 37th-best offensive tackle prospect, the seventh-best overall prospect from the state of New Jersey and the 350th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015.

The Badgers hosted their camp over the weekend, which is how they attracted so many prospects and earned these four commitments. That brings the Badgers to 13 total commitments and they now have the 17th-best class in the country and the second-best class in the Big 10.
