Djimon Hounsou, who plays the relentless Korath in the upcoming Marvel adventure Guardians of the Galaxy, is front and center in new image for the upcoming film.
It won’t be long now until fans can finally lay their eyes on the latest Marvel adventure Guardians of the Galaxy.
Yesterday, we showed you a new Character Spot for the film that highlighted each of the members of the latest ragtag superhero squad.
Now, thanks to director James Gunn, we have a look at a new image from the film featuring Djimon Hounsou, who plays the relentless Korath in the upcoming adventure.
Take a look for yourself. Here’s a look at the latest image from Guardians of the Galaxy courtesy of James Gunn’s Twitter account.
Unfortunately, this is nothing we haven’t seen before. We have had a solid look at Korath in most of the trailers and TV Spots that have been released for the film, so this is a little bit of a tease.
On the other hand, it is nice to see a character who is not a member of the Guardians getting a little bit of a push prior to the release of the film. Unfortunately, there are so many talented actors and actresses in the film that it would be difficult to feature every single one of them, but we can always try.
The film is being directed by James Gunn. The script for the film was penned by Gunn alongside rookie screenwriter Nicole Perlman.
Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, and the voice talents of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
The film also stars The Hobbit actor Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Doctor Who’s Karen Gillan, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Djimon Hounsou, and many more.
Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and Conventional Theaters on August 1, 2014.
