Gotham is going to tell the early stories of, well, Gotham City before the Dark Knight rose to power. It will feature story lines based on Detective Gordon who will be played by Ben McKenzie. Initial storyboards surround Gordan as a young rookie detective. It takes place while Bruce Wayne is a boy after his parents have been killed. He will be a part of the series as well but not a focal point. There has also been rumors that a young teenage Selena Kyle will make her debut as well. She of course is the future Catwoman.
Jada Pinkett-Smith is set to play the villain in the series, Fish Mooney, a gang boss. The series is set to debut in the fall Monday’s on FOX. So if you are in New York next week and want to take a stab at becoming a citizen of Gotham, now is your chance.
