If you grew up in the 90’s, then there is a very good chance that you know the names Cory and Topanga. You know…the perfect couple from the highly popular show Boy Meets World that every single kid compared their relationship too back then?

Well, now Cory and Topanga are back and they are all grown up with kids of their own. Not in real life, but in their new show Girl Meets World which is set to debut next Friday on the Disney Channel.

In Girl Meets World, Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence are not Cory and Topanga Matthews. The happy couple has two children, and their daughter Riley, who is played in the series by Rowan Blanchard, is now about the same age as Cory and Topanga were in Boy Meets World.

So now, the tables are flipped and Cory and Topanga are now the responsible adults tasked with leading their children through the trials and tribulations they encountered as kids.

Just in time for the series’ big premiere, the Matthews family decided to take a little family outing and participate in America’s favorite past-time, Baseball.

Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, who as you know play Cory and Topanga in the series, accompanied Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter, who play their daughter Riley and her best friend Maya, headed out to Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night to not only take in the game, but participate in the traditional “It’s Time for Dodger Baseball!”

Don’t try to cover it up, even if you are now a gainfully employed adult, you still smile (at least on the inside) when you saw Cory and Topanga take the field.

We may not all follow the new series as religiously as we followed Boy Meets World, but I am willing to bet you that a number of us will be tuning in next Friday to get a look at what is next for our favorite school yard sweethearts.
