The time is quickly approaching for the victors to take their place in history in the final two installments of The Hunger Games saga The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Parts 1 and 2.

The studio has taken a very interesting path when it comes to marketing the new film.

They have established a site for the Capitol which resides at thecapitol.pn, where they have been distributing new propaganda material in promotion of the new film.

One of their latest distributions is known as the “District Heroes Collection.” It is a series of posters which honor the heroes who best embody the spirit of the people in their respective Districts of Panem.

They have all sacrificed for their district in one form or another; some with hard work and others with great personal loss. The one thing that unites them all is their passion for their Districts, or at least that is what the Capitol would have you believe.

Whether you are one of the few who side with the Capitol in the matters of the Districts, or one of the rebels who fight for their independence, the war is about to commence and absolutely no one is going to be safe.

While we wait patiently for the film to make its way to theaters, here is a look at the new posters for the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

Director Francis Lawrence will be returning to direct The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2. He previously directed the second installment in the franchise, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The script for the film is being penned by Danny Strong, which is of course based off of The Hunger Games book series from bestselling author Suzanne Collins.

The film stars Jennifer Lawrence as the hero of the story, Miss Katniss Everdeen. The film also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Sam Claflin, and Jena Malone all reprising their roles from the previous films.

Actress Julianne Moore will be joining the cast as President Alma Coin when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 hits theaters later this year. Also joining the cast in Part 1 is Game of Thrones actresses Natalie Dormer and Gwendoline Christie, who will be playing Cressida and Commander Lyme respectively.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21, 2014.
