With the 2014 NBA Draft rapidly approaching, there are a handful of NBA rumors that are making the rounds.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

The latest of the NBA rumors to surface involves the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers. The trade could be part of the Joel Embiid fallout from his foot surgery that will keep him out of action for the very early part of his NBA career.

According to Ryen Russillo of ESPN, the Lakers could be willing to send veteran guard Steve Nash and the No. 7 overall pick in the draft to Philadelphia.

In exchange, Michael Carter-Williams and Thaddeus Young could make the switch to Los Angeles.

If that scenario was to play out, the belief is that the 76ers would select Dante Exum with the No. 3 pick.

There is no guarantee that the scenario could play out exactly as planned, but it would be a win-win situation for both sides involved.
