Soccer star Hope Solo arrested after altercation with sister, nephew

In case you were wondering, Hope Solo is still a hot mess. The USWNT goal keeper was arrested Friday night after allegedly striking her sister and nephew during an incident at her Kirkland, Washington home with former Seattle Seahawks TE Jerramy Stevens.

Police say officers were called to the Stevens’ house in the early morning hours after reports of a disturbance and discovered a party that had turned into an “out of control situation.”

Officers say the two alleged victims showed visible signs of injury. Solo was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and at last report was being held without bail in South King County jail.

This of course is not the first time Solo and her fighting ways have gotten her into the news. In 2010, her then-fiance Stevens was arrested after the two became involved in an altercation that required a taser to break up. Just days after the arrest, the couple went through with their wedding.

Because why should two people break up just because they start beating on each other?

After this latest incident, it’s clear that the violence in that family extends beyond Solo and her husband. By the sound of it, Solo could use some serious counseling. I don’t know if it’s booze or natural anger or psychosis or what but she is clearly in need of help.
