The NBA Draft is just around the corner and we are starting to hear more and more about players that could be switching teams before all is said and done with the offseason. The hottest name at the moment is that of Kevin Love, who the Minnesota Timberwolves are more than likely going to trade in the coming week.

More from Chicago Bulls

But he’s not the only name being discussed in trade talks as the Orlando Magic have made guard Arron Afflalo very much available and the Chicago Bulls are listening very closely.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports, the Chicago Bulls are very actively trying to acquire Arron Afflalo from the Magic and while no deal has seemingly been offered, the interest level appears to be rather high for the Bulls.

"The Chicago Bulls are pursuing a trade for Orlando Magic swingman Arron Afflalo, league sources told Yahoo Sports.Afflalo, 28, has two years left on his contract – including an Early Termination Option (ETO) provision next summer – and front office executives believe the Magic are prioritizing a trade for Afflalo over working to extend his contract."

The Bulls need a scoring threat on their team and they don’t have one at all right now. Afflalo could be the shooting guard the Bulls have coveted since they discovered they needed a partner for Derrick Rose and they actually looked into possibly getting him in the past.

But this seems to be as close and as real as the Bulls interest has been and if Chicago wants to get serious about winning then it seems trades like this one will be what they need to do.
