The Arkansas Razorbacks may have landed their biggest commitment of the class of 2015 when 3-star running back Rawleigh Williams III gave his pledge to the Razorbacks.

More from College

Although Williams isn’t the highest-rated prospect on the board, he is from Dallas, Texas and attends Bishop Lynch High School, an are the Razorbacks must hit hard. Williams was also once an Ole Miss Rebels’ commit so the Razorbacks were able to turn a prospect who was committed to a school that has been recruiting at a high level.

Williams was offered back on June 6 and took an official visit to Arkansas earlier this week.

“When I visited, I fell in love with the place from the coaches, to the academics, to everything else,” Williams said via Otis Kirk of 24/7 Sports. “I just loved it.”

Williams called Razorbacks’ head coach Bret Bielema on Saturday afternoon.

“I told him I was ready to be a Razorback,” Williams said. “We talked for about thirty minutes. We just talked about everything and how excited everyone is with me going there. He wanted me bad, and I knew it on my visit, but I just had to talk to my mom and think it over.”

The 5’10.5, 195-pound Williams is ranked as the country’s 47th-best running back prospect, the 78th-best overall prospect in the state of Texas and the 633rd-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Williams also holds offers from the Duke Blue Devils and North Texas Mean Green, among others.

Williams becomes the 19th verbal commitment for the Razorbacks. Their class ranks 19th nationally and ninth in the SEC.
