Eating fast food isn’t much of an option when you’re a professional athlete. That really comes into play when you’re an aging professional athlete who no longer has the metabolisim that you did when you were fresh out of college.

More from NBA

That’s likely something San Antonio Spurs big man Tim Duncan is well aware of as the former Wake Forest talent decided he’d celebrate his fifth NBA championship ring by ordering a #5 from Chick-Fil-A recently, all while cramming himself in what looks to be a somewhat modified version of an Audi R8.

The photo of Duncan getting ready to chow down on some chicken (while waiting in what look to be some absurdly long lines) was snapped by a fan who, while on the bus, was stopped at a stoplight and noticed Duncan rolling down his window to place his order.

Now, it’s not exactly uncommon to see a player grab a bite to eat at a fast foot restaurant during the offseason, but it was Tim Duncan of all people. And to make things even better, he somehow crammed himself into that Audi, which doesn’t even seem humanly possible. I mean, dude is over seven feet tall.

Also, it’s so typical Duncan to get fast food instead of dining at a well-to-do steakhouse all while driving an Audi and not a Ferrari or Lamborghini. The guy is just as much blue collar (if you want to consider an Audi, blue collar) off the court as he is on it.
