Milo Ventimiglia says Peter Petrelli not returning in Heroes Reborn

Actor Milo Ventimiglia, who played Peter Petrelli in the original Heroes series, says that his character will not be returning in the new series Heroes Reborn.

Well, I guess with every good news comes at least a little bit of bad news; although some people may find this a tad bit more than some.

As some of you know by now, it was announced early last week that Jack Coleman would be returning to the series as Noah Bennet.

Most of you probably recall him as the man with the horn rimmed glasses or HRG for short.

Unfortunately, for those of you who have been holding out to see Peter Petrelli join the leagues of the returning cast members, I wouldn’t hold your breath.

The actor himself took to Twitter late Friday night to answer a question from a fan, and seamlessly crushed the dreams of a large number of Heroes fans.

There is generally no word more concrete than the words of the actor themselves; however, there is always the .5% chance that this is a case of classic misdirection.

We all know that Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa has been cast in the role of Aquaman in the new in the upcoming film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice; however, when he made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actor played coy and subtly denied the whole thing.

Unfortunately, unless blue is your color, I don’t recommend you hold your breath waiting to find out. This is more than likely the final word on the subject.

Which of the previous characters in the Heroes series are you still holding out for a return for? How many do you think will ultimately return to the franchise for the new series? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

There is no official premiere date set for the show just yet; however, the miniseries is set to return to our screens in 2015.
