The Chicago Bulls have been involved in trade discussions pertaining to the 2014 NBA Draft for a few weeks now as we’ve heard reports suggesting they and the Denver Nuggets were looking to make a deal. However, it appears the Bulls have grander intentions as according to SportingNews, they’re looking to trade into the lottery as they’ve recently engaged in trade talks with the Sacramento Kings.

More from Chicago Bulls

The Kings have been more than open about their desire to move out of the No. 8 spot and either move back or completely out of the draft, though in this scenario we don’t really know what the Kings would be getting in return.

"Chicago has had multiple talks with Orlando, both about the No. 12 pick and shooting guard Arron Afflalo, and with Denver about No. 11, but a source told Sporting News that the Bulls have also engaged with the Kings in a potential deal for the No. 8 pick."

The Chicago Bulls currently own the No. 16 and No. 19 picks in the draft, but the Kings are said to be coveting a veteran talent, not additional draft picks so it would seem most likely that Chicago would give up one (maybe both) of their picks and a veteran for the No. 8 pick, though, that’s just an educated guess at this point.

If the No. 16 and No. 19 picks aren’t going to get it done for the No. 12 pick, owned by the Orlando Magic, they’re certainly not going to get it done for the No. 8 pick held by the Kings so it seems safe to assume a player would be moved if such a trade was to go down.
