The NBA Draft is just around the corner and that means we’re going to start hearing about more and more teams trying to trade around the top to the order to land the player they covet.

Utah wants to trade up, but so do the Philadelphia 76ers and a few other teams and the Jazz need to try and figure out an offer that actually sticks and isn’t washed away right away by a better offer.
According to NBA scribe Chuck Myron, the Utah Jazz are no doubt looking to make moves in the draft that land them Jabari Parker but it’s hard to see any of it actually happening.
"They’d like to move up into the top two picks, but apparently not necessarily for Jabari Parker, as had been their assumed target all season long. I don’t think they’ll be able to get it done, though. Utah’s still a long way from contending, and I’ll think the Jazz will be content to let the young roster and their first-time head coach evolve slowly."
Utah just doesn’t have enough to move up and make a trade happen, especially with all of the other deals we’re starting to hear kicked around. With all of the trade rumors, the Jazz aren’t really anywhere in the discussion and that’s telling about their chances of trading up in the draft.
Anything is possible at the NBA Draft as the Jazz may pull off a trade or Parker may inexplicably fall to them at No. 5 overall, but as it stands now a trade for Parker is highly unlikely.
