Having none of this, he sends his son to run to his mother and look away while he quickly dispatched of the men looking to take his son away from him.

When he realizes that they are not going to stop coming for his family or his son, he searched for ways to keep his family safe.

Finally, he find himself in the presence of a monster in a cave. He tells the monster that he wants to have enough power to be able to defend his family from those who would seek to destroy it. After Vlad drinks from the monster, he suddenly begins to become one himself.

There is always a price to be paid for acquiring what it is you desire, becoming the monster known as Dracula was Vlad’s.
