Early in the season, it seemed like a sure bet that either former Kansas Jayhawks’ forward Andrew Wiggins or former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker would be the top-overall selection. Then, it appeared as though Wiggins’ former Kansas teammate, center Joel Embiid would go first with Australian point guard Dante Exum as a dark horse candidate. Now that Embiid has had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot, it again looks like either Parker or Wiggins will be the top pick.
Our friends over at Bovada have been kind enough to send over their latest odds and ends in regards to the draft and they have made Wiggins the favorite go first-overall.
