Tuesday was a huge day for the Miami Hurricanes.

More from College

First the Hurricanes went into the class of 2016 and received a commitment from one the top linebackers in the class, 4-star prospect Shaq Quarterman (and that came on the heels of a commitment form 2016 4-star quarterback Jack Allison).

Then, the Hurricanes landed a pledge from offensive lineman Geron Christian.

Finally, it was 3-star wide receiver Therrell Gosier who committed to the Hurricanes.

“I am officially committed to the University of Miami,” Gossier announced via twitter.

Gosier has been offered by several major programs over the last few weeks and received his offer from the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Obviously, he jumped all over it.

Gosier, who is from Pompano Beach and attend Blanche Ely High School, is a fine basketball player and has fantastic size, measuring in at 6’6 and 200 lbs. Gosier is ranked as the country’s 130th-best wide receiver prospect, the 143rd-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and the 1,045th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Gosier also holds offers from the Clemson Tigers, Kentucky Wildcats, Nebraska Cornshuskers, South Florida Bulls and West Virginia Mountaineers, among others.

Gosier becomes the 16th verabl commitment in the class of 2015 for Al Golden’s squad. The Hurricane’s class, which is headlined by a pair of 4-star running backs in Dexter Williams and Mark Walton, ranks 13th nationally and third in the ACC, trailing only the Clemson Tigers and Florida State Seminoles.
