After sustaining another unfortunate injury that is likely to derail yet another big push, Bad News Barrett commented on the severity of his shoulder separation this morning.
In the tweet, Barrett noted that he’s feeling the injury, but that X-rays would be taken to determine his status.
Thanks for the tweets. Shoulder is beat up, but it’s not the end of the world. Getting X-rays tomorrow, I’ll know more then. #BNB

This is another horrible turn for Barrett, who is the WWE’s current Intercontinental champion, and has been riding perhaps the most momentum he’s ever had in his WWE career.
As it pertains to match quality, crowd reaction, and interest in his character, Barrett has been at an all-time high.
It’s likely that Barrett will be pulled from this Sunday’s upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match, set to air on pay-per view. It is unknown what the WWE plans to do as it pertains to Barrett’s Intercontinental title.
Contrary to the actions of most WWE heels, Barrett has been winning matches cleanly, as opposed to utilizing underhanded tactics.
Barrett had another major injury in 2012, as he suffered a partially dislocated elbow just before WrestleMania. WWE had planned on pushing Barrett hard prior to the injury, in which kept him out of the ring for over six months.
