LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh meet in Miami
By Sam Richmond
With the NBA’s free agency period about a week away, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh had a meeting in Miami on Wednesday, which was first reported by Lesley Abravanel of the Miami Herald.
There’s currently very limited information available on the private meeting, other than security being present, players laughing with each other and it now being over.
Still, it’s pretty easy to determine that the NBA superstars were talking about their possible futures together. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported Tuesday that such a meeting would occur and that it could have a big impact on what the trio decide to do this offseason.
"The meeting is expected to take place days before the official beginning of free agency, and there’s an expectation that the Heat’s “Big 3” will have a strong idea about whether they’ll continue together in Miami before James, 29, can hit the market on July 1."
LeBron has already opted out of his current contract with the Miami Heat and one would expect Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to do the same before June 30 if the three players are working in concert and all plan to return to the Heat.

The fact that the players were reportedly relaxed would seem to be good news for Heat fans hoping LeBron and Co. return, but suggesting that truly means something substantial would likely be reaching a point of over-analyzation.
But until more details emerge, that’s really all we have to go on at this point.
