We are now just two weeks away from the release of the latest installment in the Planet of the Apes saga, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
On Tuesday, we showed you an interesting new featurette that took you behind the scenes of the film and showed you some of the technology involved in the creation of a film like Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Now, we have a look at a new clip from the film that introduces us to Maurice the Orangutan.
As you know by now, Caesar is not particularly interested in a war between the apes and the human survivors. Now that he has a family, all he wants is for there to be peace so that both sides can live their lives without fear of intervention.
While this may not come to pass, there are some apes among them who are with Caesar and his view points. Obviously, Koba is not one of them, but that is another story for another time.
However, one of the apes that is open to communication with the humans is Maurice the Orangutan. In the latest clip from the film, we watch as Maurice wanders into one of the human’s camps where he meets Alexander.
The two of them sit at the camp as Alexander shows Maurice the book he is reading, and even starts to explain it to him as Malcolm and Ellie look on.
What are you waiting for? Take a look for yourselves. Here is a look at the latest clip from the upcoming film Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is being directed by Matt Reeves, who also directed the first-person monster flick Cloverfield.
The script for the film was penned by screenwriters Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Mark Bomback. Both Jaffa and Silver penned the script for the last film in the Planet of the Apes saga titled Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
The film stars Keri Russell and Jason Clarke as Malcolm and Ellie. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes also stars Judy Greer, Andy Serkis, Toby Kebbell, Angela Kerecz, Gary Oldman and many more.
