The Oklahoma City Thunder narrowed missed out on another trip to the NBA Finals this past season, losing to the eventual champion San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals.

With their no. 21 selection in the first round, the Thunder selected Mitch McGary out of Michigan, although he only played eight games last season due to back issues.
