The NBA Draft has reached the end of the first round and the last pick was made by the NBA Finals champions in the San Antonio Spurs. They build their dynasty at the moment through the draft over the years and their ability to pick great players or somehow acquire them young has helped lead to five NBA titles since 1999 and there could very well be a few more coming in the next few years.

More from NBA

The Spurs continued their knack for finding interesting talent late in the draft by using the No. 30 pick and the final selection of the first round on UCLA guard Kyle Anderson. Not only is Anderson a high IQ guy, he’s a 6-foot-9 point forward who can double as a small forward in certain schemes and a point guard in others.

Anderson may take a while to fit in but he’s the perfect prospect for the Spurs to mold and he’s a guy that is learning from some of the best to have ever graced the game. It’s a stellar pick for the Spurs and it’s one that will no doubt keep them good for a long time to come as the future continues to get brighter beyond the Big 3 currently holding things down.
