After years of rumors of a few backstage spats, some new details regarding backstage fights between Sin Cara & Drew McIntyre, Cara & Sheamus and Sheamus & Yoshi Tatsu were revealed on a recent episode of MLW Radio featuring Konnan, Court Bauer, Alex Greenfield and Money Making Maurice.

On the podcast, Konnan said that Sin Cara (as portrayed by Hunico) had words with Drew McIntyre when Drew apparently accused Cara of “big leaguing” some of the talent. Konnan specifically noted McIntyre specified that Cara was shaking hands with some people and not others backstage. Cara stood up to McIntyre, and called him out. Drew dismissed the situation, and nothing further happened.

Shortly after, Sin Cara was in the trainer’s room warming up, and Sheamus came in. Sheamus made an underhanded comment that Cara should get up off of the stretching mat so Sheamus could use it instead. Sheamus allegedly implied that he was more important than Cara, and should be able to use it. This led to Sheamus throwing the first punch, Cara sweeping Sheamus’ legs, and landing a few punches in before the fight was broken up. When Sheamus got called out about the situation, he said he thought Cara was just playing around with him, despite Sheamus throwing the first punch.

Another popular story backstage is that Yoshi Tatsu beat Sheamus up years ago in developmental. The rumor has it that Sheamus had borrowed money from Tatsu and wouldn’t pay it back in a timely fashion. Tatsu persistently asked to be paid back before he confronted Sheamus. Sheamus repeatedly gave Tatsu the run-around, which led to Tatsu slapping him in the face. Tatsu reportedly felt bad about the situation, but did indeed get his money back.
