This summer could turn out to be one of the biggest in the history in the NBA.

More from LeBron James

There are several big name free agents set to hit the market on Tuesday when free agency officially begins. That group is headlined by the game’s best player, Miami Heat forward LeBron James.

Although James isn’t expected to give them any thought, Brian Schmitz of The Orlando Sentinel, the Magic will be placing a call and attempting to make a pitch to James’ camp on Tuesday.

"The Magic believe in LeBron James and are expected to place a call to LeBron’s camp. The courting period begins Tuesday.Laugh if you want, but Hennigan has a duty to place that call. Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall to hear that conversation?Selling points for the Magic to LeBron:• You don’t have to leave the state.• Orlando has Disney and better family attractions for your kids.• You love kids, and that’s all you’d have for teammates.• Victor Oladipo has more working body parts than Dwyane Wade.Yeah, LeBron isn’t going to listen to the Magic’s pitch. But it’s good practice for free agency, 2015."

Of course, barring some sort of miracle, James won’t be joining the Magic. If  he does indeed leave the Heat, it is believed the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers will all be considered.

James averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 56.7% from the field, 37.9% from three and 75.0% from the charity stripe last season.
