The Houston Rockets are a team looking to make a giant splash in the offseason and reel in not one but possibly two big free agents to form a Fearsome Foursome of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard and James Harden.

More from Houston Rockets

It would appear that Chandler Parsons will not be the fifth Beatle in this scenario as he may not even be playing for the Houston Rockets next season. According to Marc J. Spears from Yahoo! Sports, the Houston Rockets have declined the fourth year player option for Parsons and have made him a restricted free agent.

Parsons is a guy that lots of teams might be interested in should the Rockets distance themselves from matching an offer for him. They reserve the right to take him back on any offer he receives from another team but aren’t obliged to do so if they don’t want to.

This is where another team could steal him away, but it’s more than likely that he’ll take some time before deciding if he wants to leave Houston or not — something he’s already said he’s not interested in doing on his own free will.
