NHL Draft 2014: Every Detroit Red Wings pick

The 2014 NHL Draft has come and gone, and the short term, and potentially long term, futures of hundreds of young men have been determined.

The top players went where they were expected to go, while some players made pretty substantial slides down the draft board, including a couple, like Ivan Barbeshev, who were ranked higher up on the final FanSided NHL Draft big board.

The Detroit Red Wings began the draft with my favorite pick of the first round in Dylan Larkin. The continued with the solid draft with the selection of Dominic Turgeon, son of former number one overall pick Pierre Turgeon, in the second round.

The rest of the Red Wings’ draft can be seen below.

Okay Red Wings fans! What do you think of your team’s haul in the 2014 NHL Draft? Excited, or do you feel the team could have done better? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
