The 2014 NHL Draft has come and gone, and the short term, and potentially long term, futures of hundreds of young men have been determined.
The top players went where they were expected to go, while some players made pretty substantial slides down the draft board, including a couple, like Ivan Barbeshev, who were ranked higher up on the final FanSided NHL Draft big board.

The Los Angeles Kings had 10 picks in total at the 2014 NHL Draft, and they used those picks to basically make the rich, richer.
The addition of Adrian Kempe in round one and Roland McKeown in round two will prove to be excellent value picks for the Kings, and help them stay at the top of the league for years to come.
