NHL Draft 2014: Every New York Islanders pick

The 2014 NHL Draft has come and gone, and the short term, and potentially long term, futures of hundreds of young men have been determined.

The top players went where they were expected to go, while some players made pretty substantial slides down the draft board, including a couple, like Ivan Barbeshev and Brayden Point, who were ranked higher up on the final FanSided NHL Draft big board.

The New York Islanders made a splash in this year’s draft with the trade that but them back into the first round of the draft to select enigmatic forward Josh Ho-Sang. The addition of Michael Dal Colle should also give the Islanders a great scorer for years on the wing.
