NHL Draft 2014: Every Winnipeg Jets pick

The 2014 NHL Draft has come and gone, and the short term, and potentially long term, futures of hundreds of young men have been determined.

The top players went where they were expected to go, while some players made pretty substantial slides down the draft board, including a couple, like Ivan Barbeshev and Brayden Point, who were ranked higher up on the final FanSided NHL Draft big board.

The Winnipeg Jets are still trying to reach the playoffs for the first time since they were reintroduced to the league three years ago, and this draft could go a long way towards helping that cause.

Nikolaj Ehlers is a player that could come in and contribute right away with the Jets, and Chase De Leo has the potential to be a solid top-six forward in the next four to five years.

The Jets’ full draft list can be found in the table below.

Love the stockpiling of Dmen and Centers. The fact Ustaski is 6’5 220lbs is steal at the 192 spot. Cheveldayoff’s scouts are first class and the Jets are roaring not far in the distance.
