Back at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans this past April, one of the most shocking moments in the long history of professional wrestling took place as the Undertaker was defeated for the first time in his career at the storied event, dropping his overall record to 21-1, at the hands of Brock Lesnar.
Immediately following the match, reports began to flood in that the Undertaker was pretty banged up throughout the bout, suffering a concussion and not really remembering anything.
According to a report from PWInsider, the ‘Dead Man’ still isn’t doing all that well and his status for next year’s WrestleMania is up in the air at this point, if not flat-out doubtful.
According to PWInsider.com, The Undertaker is said to still be in pretty bad shape following his WrestleMania 30 injury, and his status for next year’s big event is very much up in the air. The way things stand now, a decision as to whether or not Undertaker will be able to compete at WrestleMania 31 likely will not be made until the end of this year at the earliest.
While the Undertaker has been so successful in his career because he has the fans’ best interest in mind, at this point in his career, he needs to focus on his health. If he never wrestles a match ever again, while it would be disappointing, might be necessary at this juncture.
