Carmelo Anthony free agent visit schedule released

Carmelo Anthony opted out of his contract with the New York Knicks and is set to become one of the most highly-sought after NBA Free Agents when the market officially opens on Tuesday, July 1.

Anthony has a number of potential suitors that are lining up to court the free agent during the negotiating period, and he reportedly already has at least three free agent visits lined up for when the market is open.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Anthony will be visiting with the Chicago Bulls on the first day of free agency.
Once his visit with Chicago is over, Anthony will travel to Texas for free agent visits with the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

The Bulls are believed to be the front-runners to sign Anthony, so it could be a positive sign for their fan base that their team will get the first crack at impressing the free agent.
Of course, Anthony is a smart man and will allow the process to play out so that he can get the most out of his contract.
