If you are a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, there is some positive news surfacing just before the official start of free agency at midnight. According to reports, the Cavaliers are preparing to offer star point guard Kyrie Irving a max deal as soon as the clock strikes midnight.
There were previous reports that Irving was unhappy in Cleveland, but receiving the five-year, $90-million contract will help to ease any of that frustration.
Chris Broussard of ESPN (yeah, I know) is reporting that Cavaliers officials are currently on their was to New Jersey in order to offer the contract as soon as the NBA allows.

So the Cavaliers should have Kyrie Irving and Andrew Wiggins all locked up to lead the team into the future.
Of course, no one in Cleveland will give up hope that LeBron James will someday return, but that just doesn’t seem to be very likely at this time.
