Unemployed NFL quarterback Kevin Kolb got himself into a bit of trouble over the weekend. Following the all-too-common trend of the NFL, Kolb was popped for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Only it wasn’t a car.

From 956 Sports:

"Former Philadelphia Eagles, and NFL quarteback Kevin Kolb was arrested in Willacy County, Texas this weekend. The arrest citation was verified by Willacy County Sheriff’s office to 956sports.com. Kolb was arrested for boating while intoxicated. He was released Sunday on a personal recognizance bond. The arrest occured on Saturday June 28. He spent time in jail from 2:44am on June 29, 2014 and was released at 1:11pm."

Kolb was last on the Buffalo Bills but suffered a seasons-ending concussion in the preseason, clearing the way for rookie E.J. Manuel to step in and lead the Bills. Manuel suffered his own injury issues throughout the season as well.

Kolb might be a free agent until the preseason when an unfortunate to one team’s quarterback might create a need for depth on the roster. This incident might hurt any of Kolb’s appeal.
