NBA Rumors: Cavaliers on bottom of list to sign LeBron James
By Bryan Rose
Ever since LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign with the Miami Heat in 2010, there has been an underlying sense that James would eventually return to his former stomping grounds. Maybe it was a realistic view at some point or maybe it was just wishful thinking on behalf of Cavaliers fans, but LeBron James is not returning to his former team.

That’s the word from Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders who not only says the dream of LeBron in Cleveland isn’t going to happen, he also suggests the Cavaliers as the last team on his list.
Responding to a fan question about the Cleveland Cavaliers signing LeBron James, Kyler gave the following answer.
"The Cavs are not getting LeBron James… so you can speculate on the 90 things you can say, but the Cavs are light years away from a championship and that’s all that matters to LeBron.Off all the teams that could get LeBron the Cavs are likely last on the list. Focus on what you have and that’s a promising young team. LeBron has moved on, so should you."
The idea of James returning to his ‘hometown team’ has been all the rage this season, though, this is the strongest sentiment we’ve seen suggesting that it’s not a possibility.
Of course, that’s not exactly shocking considering we’ve seen both Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh opt out of their contracts with the Miami Heat after James did the same, a suggestion that all three players are preparing to put themselves in position for a new contract with the franchise.
