  • One player who isn’t a free agency but could have some pull in which way the market leans is Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love. The Wolves were rumored to be trading him before the NBA Draft but held off and have kept him for the time being but that doesn’t mean teams aren’t trying to find a way to acquire him still.

According to Darren Wolfson from ESPN1500 in Minneapolis, the Rockets restricted free agent isn’t actively begging to be traded to the Wolves but if the money is right he’d be down with being part of a sign-and-trade deal.

Parsons had his fourth year option declined by the Rockets last week and as a result he’s a restricted free agent. What this means is that the Wolves would have to agree to a contract that the Rockets would then sign before trading to Minnesota in part of a Kevin Love deal.

Parsons’ openness to being traded is encouraging for the Rockets in their hopes of landing Love but it by no means guarantees a deal will get done.
