With the 2014 NHL Draft taking place this past weekend and free agency beginning July 1st, it is officially time to put the 2013-14 NHL season to bed. Sure the LA Kings will continue to celebrate their second Stanley Cup championship in three years for the remainder of the offseason, but all 30 teams’ front offices have already shifted their focus to the 2014-15 NHL season. Before the preparation for next season really kicks into high gear this week, now would be a good time to take a look at the biggest disappointments of the 2013-14 season.
