One of the huge front runners to land the services of Carmelo Anthony this free agency period is the Chicago Bulls. It’s been no secret that they have been hot on his trail the past few weeks and are looking to make a strong recruiting pitch on Tuesday during their meeting, and the big gun, Derrick Rose, has been brought out.

More from Chicago Bulls

There has been some speculation recently as to whether or not Rose would actually be a part of the pitch, with the recent word that Joakim Noah was trying to get him to help out in the recruiting process. When it comes down to it, winning trumps all, and Rose has to know that bringing Anthony in could put them over the top. Therefore, he must have decided he needed to be in attendance.

Rose will be returning from another knee injury this season that put a damper on his first comeback last year. Despite him being out, this team still made the Eastern Conference Playoffs, showing that they’re nearly a championship-caliber club ready to take that next step.

Anthony would unquestionably lend the biggest helping hand in getting the Bulls back to the promised land, and maybe the pitch from Rose on Tuesday was enough to convince him of that.
