The Golden State Warriors have been looking at ways they can acquire Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves but that hasn’t stopped them from branching out and finding other ways to get better as well.

More from Brooklyn Nets

It was a busy day for the Dubs as they not only moved to finalize an agreement to hire Luke Walton as assistant coach to Steve Kerr, but they also reached an agreement on a three-year deal with Shaun Livingston.

Livingston had a break out year with the Brooklyn Nets and even replaced star point guard Deron Williams in the starting lineup for a period of time when the NEts started to turn their season around.

Teams around the NBA saw that as no coincidence as he saw a slew of itnerested teams contact him as soon as they could this morning when free agency opened but the Dubs were the team that were able to wrestle him away from the Nets.

It could turn out to be one of the wiser signings of the summer as the Dubs have instantly upgraded their roster and made themselves more of a threat int he Western Conference, all on the first day of free agency.
