10. Andrew Luck, QB, Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck, who will be 25 on Sept. 12, is fulfilling the promise the Indianapolis Colts saw then they took him out of Stanford with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 draft.

In two NFL seasons, Luck hasn’t missed a start, has taken the Colts to the postseason two straight years, been to two Pro Bowls and tied for the NFL lead with seven game-winning drives as a rookie in 2012, according to pro-football-reference.com.

No quarterback in NFL history threw for more yards in his first two seasons than Luck, who already has 8,196 yards. The Colts have won 22 of his 32 starts, which is tied for the second-most for a starter in his first two seasons with Ben Roethlisberger, behind only the 24 put up by Russell Wilson.

Luck is also no slouch when it comes to leaving the pocket, rushing for 632 yards and nine touchdowns in his first two seasons in the league.

He made the progression one would expect from Year 1 to Year 2, cutting his interception total in half in 2013 to nine, down from the 18 picks he threw as a rookie.
