Dana White talks Chael Sonnen firing, UFC 175, and more

The biggest fight week of the year is here as International Fight Week is currently going on in Las Vegas, Nevada. To cap off the week that includes the UFC Fan Expo, there will be two live events on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday night, live on pay-per-view from the Mandalay Bay Events Center, UFC 175 goes down featuring two title fights in the middleweight and women’s bantamweight divisions respectively. Middleweight champion Chris Weidman looks to defend his title against Lyoto Machida, while Ronda Rousey looks to defend her bantamweight title against Alexis Davis.

On Sunday night, UFC legend BJ Penn returns to the Octagon to take on fellow TUF 19 coach Frankie Edgar in a trilogy bout in the main event of the Ultimate Fighter 19 finale.

With so much excitement and news surrounding this weekend, UFC president Dana White had quite a few things to address when he recently appeared on Fox Sports 1’s America’s Pregame.

Check out the full interview with Dana below where he discusses firing Chael Sonnen, UFC 175, and a lot more:

Be sure to stick with FanSided throughout the week as we will have full continuing coverage of both the UFC 175 and TUF 19 finale events including pre-fight coverage, play-by-play, and post fight coverage as well.
