Jeremy Lin says Houston Rockets disrespected him
By Bryan Rose
The Houston Rockets may or may not be involved in trade talks to send Jeremy Lin to the Philadelphia 76ers. That in itself is enough to get under the skin of player, but shockingly it was something else that irritated the point guard even more.

In town today was Carmelo Anthony as he met with the Houston Rockets organization during his free agency tour. Plastered all around the Toyota Center were photos of Anthony wearing his famed No. 7, the jersey number of Jeremy Lin. That obviously didn’t sit well with Lin who expressed his displeasure on Twitter.
While the Houston Rockets likely didn’t mean any harm by putting up photo’s of Anthony wearing his trademark number, it’s easy to see why Jeremy Lin felt disrespected. The bigger issue here though is not only are the Rockets taking Lin’s number and giving it to Anthony (even though he’s not part of the team) but likely the fact that Jeremy Lin will essentially be traded if the Rockets and Carmelo Anthony do find middle ground on a deal.
If the Rockets don’t end up signing Carmelo Anthony, you have to wonder how thrilled Lin will be to return to the team who more or less was rushing him out the door in favor of another player.
So how say you, FanSided? Do you think the Houston Rockets did everything correctly? Or should Jeremy Lin feel disrespected by his franchise? Should the Rockets have just photoshopped Melo into a Rockets jersey without a number to avoid any problems?
