When the clock shifted to 12:01 am ET on July 1st, the bedlam that is NBA free agency began in full force. Because the league has instituted a waiting period before players and teams can actually agree on contracts, there is a great deal of suspense with little in the way of an immediate payoff, but in the constant machine of the league, the rumor mill continues to swirl.

The free agent options are seemingly endless for some teams, but at each end of the spectrum, role players are looking for work anywhere they can get it, while superstars like LeBron James pick and choose for the “perfect” spot to continue their legacy building.
