We are still over a year away from the release of the much anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice release date but already we’re starting to see plenty about the film as production continues over the summer.
It took us long enough to get an actual set photo from the film, but Warner Bros is also allowing for actual material to be released too. Director Zach Snyder sat down with USA Today to discuss the film and everything about it’s production and along the way we got our first look at Henry Cavill as Superman in what appears to be a prototype photo for a movie poster.
Check it out here:
USA Today also got a bit of a story scoop from Snyder who didn’t reveal any major plot details but noted a little bit more about the story that we may or may not have assumed before.
“‘Dawn of Justice’ continues to immerse Superman on Earth by working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent along with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). But it also takes him to new environments such as Gotham City and introduces larger threats, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). The debuting heroes Superman meets will affect his perspective on Earth and on the ones he loves, and Snyder feels his convictions will be drawn into question as well.”
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be hitting theaters in May 2016 and will be followed by as many as four or five films over the next half decade to follow.
